Megalithic Portal user Whitewolfin gave me a hint for this site close to the village Ostenfeld near the coast of the German Northsea. She knew this place called "Nünnehau" from the times when she lived in that area. She told me about a magical place with a stone circle.
So I began first to search in the web for this site. Nothing. I phoned with my stonefriend Holger Rix. He never heard about this place.
No hint in the topo map.

Remains of a destroyed Round Barrow called "Nünnehau" or "Nürrehau". The tomb was excavated in 1897. In the book also a local teacher is quoted explaining the site has been used as a "Thingplace".
The book includes old maps, so I found this wonderful site with the strange stone settings and the slightly visible stone circle.
