Chambered Tomb in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

A small chambered tomb on a mound, excavated in 1967. In 1922, the capstone was removed and used as a war memorial stone in the village Hamberge near Everstorf (53.87178° N, 11.23199° E). The capstone shows several cup-marks.

Everstorfer Forst Nord (10) submitted by holger_rix : After you went to the group of eight megalithic tombs, some 800 metres west are two more interesting objects. Drive down the street until you see the pathway into the forest. Soon you will see two twinlike tumulus. On top are excavated tombs.
