Ten boulders from Tyrol with a total weight of about 30 t were the raw material for Die Familie. Anatol sculptured faces into nine of the boulders and arranged them in a circle. The largest boulder of around 7 t of weight became the "mother”. The tenth stone was placed on the middle of the circle. It depicts a person in foetal curl.
