The Trichterbecherkultur Flachgräberfeld von Heek is a cemetery of the Funnelbeaker Culture in Heek (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
The cemetery was excavated in 1978-1981. The discovered potsherds and flint stone tools stem from the Funnelbeaker Culture. Moreover, ten graves were found. They were most likely not covered by a mound. The tools and some putative timber posts indicate the possible existence of a settlement.
Later, the site was again used for some additional Bronze Age burials.
The current condition of the site is not known. The excavated part was destroyed afterwards for the mining of sand. However, possible additional parts of the cemetery and a putative settlement may still be present in the ground.
Please note: The site is categorized as "Barrow Cemetery" at Megalithic Portal because it is a cemetery. However, the graves may not have been covered by a mound.
