Update by Alta-Falisa, March 2015.
Random slab unearthed in September 1887.
At the time of its discovery, in the fading hours of Romanticism, this large stone was immediately taken for the capstone of a dolmen. Already challenged at that time, this interpretation has been recently categorically dismissed : the stone is a random "natural" stone.
Locally known as "dolmen", we shall stick to this common name.

While there, you may feel like spending some time visiting the lovely town of Spa, which provided the word "spa" in English thanks to the popularity of its sources as early as the 18th century.

Solwaster-Sart
Solwaster-Sart submitted by Alta-Falisa : (50.51689, 5.97376) is as far as you can drive towards the pseudo-dolmen : there is a small yellow signpost nailed on a tree. The stone is about 150 m, quite precisely in the direction given by that signpost. Look for a similar yellow board, and you'll find the stone, lying in a pit. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Solwaster-Sart submitted by thereddragon : Translation by thereddragon. The Dolmen of Solwaster-Sart. In September 1887, Britte de Verviers discovered on the slope of a hill, amidst the heather and mossy wood of Housse a megalith of considerable dimensions called a dolmen or stone table used for sacrifices in the time of the Druids. Nearby, in the Xhavée and 450m above sea level are the cromlechs in the Celtic language or stone circle. T...

Many thanks to thereddragon for this ancient document.
Such documents, hard to come by, are indispensable to retrace the reception of megaliths in the modern times ; the legends attached to such stones are probably as interesting and valuable as the reality.
In this particular case, recent academic studies are, alas, more sobering and consider the stone as a "natural" stone : http://www.megalithe.be/sites/default/files/Dolmen_de_Solwaster.pdf
All the same, Merci Red Dragon !
