On top of the large hill called Kleppevarden is a large round barrow. It is believed to be from the early Iron or late Bronze Age. There is a small stone fence running around the top of the hill and also running over the east part of the barrow. The top of the hill is a view point with a great view over Jæren and the surrounding landscape and the ocean. The grass on the barrow and around is regularly cut short, making the barrow easy to see.
The barrow is 35 metres in diameter and 2 metres in height. It has a flattened top because a water reservoir built in 1935 on top of the barrow. The reservoir have been removed later and the original height of the barrow would have been around 5-6 metres in height.
