Menhirs d'Oppagne
Menhirs d'Oppagne submitted by Alta-Falisa : August 2014. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Three menhirs found lying side by side at the end of the 19th century ; obviously dragged from elsewhere, their exact original location cannot be ascertained.

Two (on the left and on the right) were re-erected in 1906 ; the middle one, broken at mid-height, was put upright much later, after its restoration.

(Today, the one on the right -- on the photo -- seems to be tilting towards the middle one.)

Free access all year round by a 50 m foot-way from the main road.
The tree under which they stand is quite visible on Google Maps and similar.
In the summer, they are overgrown and not readily visible, except when you stand right in the axis of the path.
