Ancient burial mounds are located in Novochopersk on the river Elan, Voronezh region.
Here is a set of three mounds-pyramids.
The complex is known as the "High tomb"-the largest mound-pyramid in Hopërskih steppes. All mounds are dug also changed their shape, the smallest now at one level with the ground. A set of three mounds-pyramids almost in line we meet in different parts of Russia and all over the world.
Here the remains of the Scythian ruins of fortifications.
There is a hypothesis that spherical mounds simulates the celestial sphere. But whatever the ideology, one undoubtedly creators-the erection of such complex areas ranging was an extremely time consuming.
Barrow Hill is not just an earthen mound, this is quite a complex structure. Constructed from blocks of sod, which recovered in a certain order. Very often there are complex tumulus constructions.
It is obvious that in the construction of mounds, participated in a very large number of people. Huge work were employed in the construction of mounds. The result of archaeological research in the Novohopersk area was revealed only 24 and 32 groups.
Many barrows Prihoper′s threatens destruction in case of development in those Territories copper-nickel deposits.
