Menhir d'Estinnes
Menhir d'Estinnes submitted by Alta-Falisa : April 2014. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Two stones found simultaneously in a field nearby, and unearthed in 1981 to facilitate agricultural activities. Both are made of the same type of formation. The largest is, or could have been, a massive menhir, having many similarities with other menhirs of the region, first of all its trapezoidal silhouette. The smaller one is a coarse stone, not showing anything particular.

Their late discovery may be explained by the fact that, like the Pierre qui Pousse of Haulchin, it could have been buried in the early years of the middle ages.
