The south-Kvassheim barrow cemetery is listed as settlement/place of activity according to the Kulturminnesøk ancient site website and consists of 33 small round burial cairns and at least 2 elongated cairns.
The cairns are overgrown with grass and can be hard to make out and the site has been damaged by plowing in later years. Some of the cairns are easy to make out but most are no larger than 3-5 metres in diameter and 0,5 to 1 metre in height. There are also structures that resemble housings but the area have not been properly mapped by any archaeologists and remains largely undescribed.
