Sais
Sais submitted by AlexHunger : Site in Lower Egypt in the Nile Delta: Sais Neith Sanctuary Stele. Artifact in the Athens Museum. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Ancient Temple in Lower Egypt (North)

Settlement dated to about 400 BCE. It later became a site for a temple of the goddess Neith and the capital of Egypt in the 26th Dynasty around 700-650 BCE.
Unfortunately, the site is pretty much destroyed due to the Nile changing its course.
For the most part, only artifacts in mseums can be seen.

La Table aux Diables (Passais)
La Table aux Diables (Passais) submitted by TheCaptain : La Table aux Diables allée couverte, Passais, Orne. The outer walling of the peristalith is almost complete, and there are many stones remaining of the cairn filling between the inner and outer walls in the northwest quadrant. La Table aux Diables (Passais) submitted by TheCaptain : La Table aux Diables allée couverte, Passais, Orne. The internal faces of the chamber stones have been nicely smoothed, and are very well aligned with each other, the gaps being filled with drystone walling.
