Hillfort in Podkarpackie.
The hillfort is located on the top of a hill near the river. Most of its area is covered with a forest. Moreover, the earthworks were partly damaged in the 19th century when the Austrian troops dug positions for their cannons here.
The hillfort in Hoczew is a part of the hillfort-chain in Bieszczady mountains. The other strongholds were located in Studenne, on the Czulnia mountain and near Posada Leska.
