One of the most important Neolithic flint mines of eastern Europe, including over 4000 features, including 700 shafts of 4 major types. Near the entrances to the shafts the remains of flint workshops were discovered. There is a guided trail around reconstructed shafts, as well as the reconstruction of a Neolithic village and a small museum nearby.
The site was exploited by people of the Funnel Beaker culture, who transported flint from Krzemionki for long distances.
