In the middle of a huge grass meadow with a nice view over the fjord, stands a tall, slender and beautiful standing stone. The stone is about 2,5 metres tall, and about 0.3 m in width.
The site also consists of 10-20 small burial cairns. But most of them are plundered and almost completely destroyed by plundering and ploughing of the field. Originally there is said to have been two standing stones here, this one and another broader and shorter one, but with runic inscriptions! This stone has sadly been lost years ago.
I took some photos of the cairns too, but they can be really hard to see, and they look very messed up and the stones lies in a chaotic way. They are made up of mostly flat stones.
The standing stone is visible from very far away because of the flat terrain. It is also a very nice view over the sea and the mountains on the other side of the fjord.
