Modern Stone Circle / Monolith in Honshū
"Honjin" was the accommodation facility in the stage towns for the feudal lords who were paraded to the shognate's residence in Edo (nowadays Tokyo) from their given territories every 2 years during Edo period (17c-19c). "Ato" means 'ruin'.
New stage town was opened and TsubakiZaka stage was soon after abandoned, now the building has rotten to nothing and the stones in the garden remains in an agricultural field.
