135cm tall menhir smoothly worked to a regular tip which used to stay by the road near the village of Březno (by the way...the archaeological site of a neolithic settlement).
For centuries the stone was well known among locals as Zakletá Panna (this translates as 'enchanted maid/virgin') but was nearly lost and destroyed during the new road constructions. A few years it was even painted white and used as the road bollard... In 1986 was luckily saved and moved about 15 km to the garden of the regional museum in Žatec town.
