2 pyramid-like rectangle cairns lie on the shore. “Ishi” means ‘stone’, “baka ( < haka)” means ‘tomb’. The upper one (26.30950N,126.80529E) is believed to be the grave of a lady who was abroad, and called “nubaru-baka”, “nubaru” might be derived from “namban” which means ‘foreign’.
