In the picturesque village of Pflaurenz / Floronzo, located in the municipality of St.Lorenzen, not far from the confluence of the rivers Gader, coming from Val Badia, and Rienz, there is the hill of Pflaurenzer Köpfl. On the hill where you can admire the Sonnenburg monastery, there is a large boulder with numerous cupels connected to each other with grooves.

This boulder represents one of the many enigmatic monuments in South Tyrol with cup marks present. Despite the numerous theories formulated, their meaning eludes clear understanding A prehistoric work of art with possible astral connections.
