The barrow cemetery is located on a natural hill overlooking the lake Mjøsa. The hill has mostly grass and no larger trees making the largest barrows easy to see. The hill is just next to to a small country road and surrounded by grain fields.
In the middle of the site is a overgrown natural rock outcrop and the site has more rock outcrops overgrown with grass. These could easily be confused as barrows.
The cemetery consists of 12 round barrows. Two of the largest barrows are furthest to the west and two more large barrows are furthest to the east in the cemetery. They are all around 10-11 metres in diameter and around 1,5 metres in height. These are the only barrows easy to see in the cemetery. The rest are small, 4-6 metres in diameter and 0,5-1 metre in height. Further to the east are two more overgrown barrows inside a forest that could have been part of the same cemetery.
