Majors-Alm is a small barrow cemetery in and around the Majors-Alm farm. It was originally a large barrow cemetery among several barrow cemeteries in the area around. Hadeland and Tingelstad seems to have been a very populated area in the iron age based upon the many different burial monuments.
The remains of Majors-Alm cemetery consists of one large round barrow constructed on top of a natural hill, which makes it seems more impressive than it in reality is. The barrow itself have been measured to 17 metres in diameter and around 3 metres in height. It is covered in grass and small brush.
One barrow is located next to one of the farmhouses. It is a round barrow, around 12 metres in diameter and around 2 metres in height. It is covered in grass and has a flag pole on top.
Close to the road are two very pretty round barrows. They are around 11 metres in diameter and around 1.5 metres in height. They are covered in short grass and are easy to see. They don't seem to be disturbed and have very pretty profiles.
There is also a smaller round barrow on the other side of the road. It is around 8 metres in diameter and around 1 metre in height.
This barrow cemetery have had more barrows but many have been erased due to farm work, construction of modern buildings and roads. There are also several suspicious small hills in the area but it is difficult to determine if they are barrows or natural shapes.
