In the outside of a garden in the old farm Ranheim (which today is a part of the city of Trondheim) is this tall, pointy and slender standing stone.
The stone is about 3 metres in height and slender, only about 20-30cm wide and about 10-20cm thick. The top ends in a sharp point. The stone is slightly wider in the middle. The number H21 and a cross has been carved into the stone on the top part, but this has been done in later years, since the stone was used as a border stone marker between the farm Ranheim and the property next to it.
It can be hard to spot because the stone is almost covered in smaller brush and some tall trees, it is also surrounded by garden waste like heaps of dead leaves and smaller sticks and tree branches.
