Round Barrow(s) in Buskerud

Inside the church yard at Hønefoss kirke is a beautiful round barrow. The barrow is in between the modern gravestones at the north east part of the cemetery. It is a part of the cemetery garden and is covered only in very short lawn grass and some larger fir trees.

The barrow is 20 metres in diameter and 2,5 metres in height. At the top of the barrow there is a small bench. Nine beautiful huge fir trees have been planted in a circle around the top of the barrow. It reminded me of a wood henge.
