Round Barrow(s) in Buskerud

Schongshaugen is a mound found in a small park inside the centre of the town Hønefoss. It is located inside a small forest and overgrown with brush and larger trees but is still easily visible from the south east.

The mound is 45 metres in diameter and 3 metres in height. It is believed to be a burial mound however it is a theory that it is a natural sand mound formed by the local river.
