alchemille visited on 19th Oct 2013 - their rating: Cond: 5 Amb: 5 Access: 4 Easy to find, taking the road D88 from St Estephe to Fixard, the Menhir is in a little wood near the road pass the junction to Fixard and before the junction with the D92, following the walking path marked on the right of the road and indicated with a typical wooden pole capped with a yellow hat.

Le menhir de Fixard is a standing stone made of granit. It is said to weight 10 tones and have a metre buried under the earth. It is 2.50 high and 1.10 metres of diametre, and it has a very sexy shape.
