Ancient Temple in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Ruins of the important Mayan ceremonial centre are located in SW part of Cozumel island, near the main road. They are dated for 800 AD, what places them among the oldest monuments on the island. The complex suffered heavy damage from Spanish conquistadors and American troops druing 2nd WW. Near the ruins there's modern church.
