Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Derbyshire
Two ancient wells associated with the Roman settlement of Little Chester. Both wells although possibly not Holy are certainly sacred and interesting relics. They lay near Rykneld street which lead to Aqua Arnametiae. Both wells are now dressed but this is no old tradition here but transfered from nearby St. Alkmund's well
