A menhir in a fabulous setting nestled near the bottom of a valley on a steep slope, it stands like a beacon at 3mtrs tall and of a light coloured granite that shone in the autumn sunshine. In addition your eyes cannot help but to be drawn to the stones approximately 5m in front of the menhir. They appear to be the remains of a possible dolman and are quite stunning in their own right.

I finally managed to locate and visit this site and what a site it is. I spoke to the farmer who owns the land and was given permission to enter the field once the cows had been moved. The Menhir is in a fabulous setting, nestled near the bottom of a valley on a steep slope, it stands like a beacon at 3mtrs tall and of a light coloured granite that shone in the autumn sunshine.
There are 3 distinctive sides to the stone all covered in a light lichen and undamaged.

I found the site to be quite atmospheric and was sad to leave such a wonderful untouched and peaceful place.

I have explored this area a lot and this is by far the best site I have found. I am trying to build a rapport with the farmer/landowner to get more regular access to this site.
