Its name means "The cross mound" in English. It has this name because some years ago there was a large stone cut cross on top of the mound, but the mound itself is of older origin.
The mound has a pretty shape, it is about 30 metres across and about 2-3 metres in height. It is overgrown with high grass and some trees are also growing on the top.
More mounds are known to have been in this area, but have been destroyed by ploughing or other activities.
