Stone Circle in Buskerud
This site consists of a large stone circle and a smaller stone setting. They are both located on a hilltop inside a forest with large pine trees and it would have been a really nice view over Tyrifjord lake without the forest.
The largest stone circle consists of 15 stones in a circle with around 2,5 metres space between them. The circle has a diameter of around 18 metres and the stones are around 1,25 metres long and around 40cm in height. They all appear to have been tipped over. The stone circle is called "kjemperingen" or "Tinghaugen". Even if the circle is low in the terrain and with the vegetation it is easy to find once you are close to it.
The smaller stone circle consits of smaller rock, around 30cm wide and the circle have a diameter of around 8 metres and there is a pit in the middle of the circle. This stone circle can be difficult to see in the terrain.
