This circle, if it ever existed, is now completely destroyed.
D Butler reported, in 1897, "The probable remains of a stone circle are situated in the field called the 'Licher-Stanes', situated between the Parish Church and Innernethy, and within a quarter of a mile from the church." Unfortunately, when RCAHMS visited in 1996 they observed "There are no visible remains of a stone circle in any of the fields between the site of Innernethy and Abernethy village."
