Promontory Fort / Cliff Castle in Wielkopolskie

An early medieval promontory fort in Turostowo is located on promontory of Turostowskie lake on it’s eastern side, west from the buildings of the village. It’s earthwork and ditch are preserved in good condition. The whole area of the site is covered with a forest. Grodzisko covers area of 0,8 ha and was excavated in 1981.

The site is easy to reach, it is located in a small forest north from the road leading to a beach on eastern bank of Turostowskie lake.
