**Stein Hoetmarer Mark** submitted by Harald_Platta : The site resembles a dolmen and is situated near Mussenbach creek, which was the old borderline between the villages Freckenhorst and Hoetmar. The memorial was errected in 2001 in reminiscence of the dead of the fight between Freckenhorst and Hoetmar in 1645. The site resembles a dolmen and is situated near Mussenbach creek, which was the old borderline between the villages Freckenhorst and Hoetmar.

Today, both belong to Warendorf (North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany), but they were often hostile against each other in the past. The memorial was errected in 2001 in reminiscence of the dead of the fight between Freckenhorst and Hoetmar in 1645.
