Artificial Mound in Buckinghamshire

The Church is built on top of a barrow - the village of Edlesborough gets its name from Eadwulf's Barrow. The site lies close to the Lower Icknield Way - one of the oldest roads within Great Britain, existing before the Romans occupied the country.
