The barrow cemetery is located in the Plankenheide heathen in Nettetal (North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany). The finds suggest that it was used by the Niederrheinischen Grabhügelkultur during the Hallstatt period of the Iron Age.
Not all urns were covered with a tumulus. Some urns were put into natural sand dunes.

Note: The site believed to be near the given coordinates. It is supposed to be located North of B221 road near the Plankenheide in Nettetal-Leuth (Flur 12, Flurstück 1).
