Holy Well or Sacred Spring in East Sussex

Principal source for the extensive conduits of the town. Arises in the garden of a modern house, at the base of grey stone walling in a semi-circular hole. Keystone over well has a date cut into it which is now difficult to read. Water fills a pond and then barrel brick built conduit. It was so named after the Queen drunk here but why? Was it a curative well?
