This particular stone monument is most probably related to the "propitiatory contract" from 1513. Based on the precise description of the cross size.
So called "propitiatory contract or agreement" was written after a capital crime commitment. Such an act of expiation involved financial penalty, religious service and many times also hand carving of the propitiatory cross. All on an account of accused one. The cross was later placed to the site of an unfortunate event to commemorate for ever.
The stone cross from Krásno is almost one meter high and was made in a shape of the knight's cross. To its present position was moved in 1996 from the place of origin. During the 19th century another iron cross was attached to its top. Since that the monument is a bit damaged there.
