Treen standing stone
Treen standing stone submitted by JimChampion : Stone on the right, looking west along the coast path. Treryn Dinas headland (Iron Age promontory castle) is off to the left. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Recently erected granite stone at the edge of a field alongside the South West Coast Path.

A writer in Meyn Mamvro magazine claims (in the Spring 2019 edition) that the stone has been re-erected in its original location. A stone of the same size and shape was formerly recumbent on the same spot, but I do not know on what grounds that the claim is made.

The stone is obvious as you walk along the coast path, just to the east of the large outer earthwork of the Treryn Dinas promontory castle.
