Brothers' Stones  Standing Stones  Scotland  Scottish Borders  Visited  3rd Sep 2026  4  5  3  Parked at the side of the main road and walked up the fence line climbing over a wire fence and going through a gate. A bit of a trudge up the hill with no clear footpath. Beautiful place, great ambiance.   1  2
Rink Hill (Boleside)  Hillfort  Scotland  Scottish Borders  Visited  3rd Sep 2026  2  5  3  A lovely spot at the top of the hill. It's a bit of a trudge up to the fort and there is no path but I thought it well worth a visit. There area was used as a plantation which has now been felled, this makes getting around on the uneven surface somewhat awkward once at the site. You can trace the rampart all the way round.  1  1
