Dolmen de la Jagartière | Burial Chamber or Dolmen | France | Languedoc:Aude (11) | Visited | 1st Jul 2025 | 4 | 5 | 3 | Heavily restored, but not apparently enhanced in any way. The view from the direction open face of the dolman is wide, and superb. This is common for this type of monument in my experience.
Roque Traoucado | Burial Chamber or Dolmen | France | Languedoc:Aude (11) | Visited | 1st Jul 2025 | 3 | 5 | 4 | A little overgrown in the cut, but still clearly visible. There are a couple of little cairns that help you navigate through the brush, as there are several scrubby paths.
Tombeau de Roland | Burial Chamber or Dolmen | France | Languedoc:Aude (11) | Visited | 1st Jul 2025 | 5 | 5 | 4 | Definitely looks like a cut in a big rock, but as already stated, why here? The location is slightly out. It should be at the top of the triangle made by the paths to the dolman.
Menhir dit la Pierre Droite (Villeneuve-Minervois) | Standing Stone (Menhir) | France | Languedoc:Aude (11) | Visited | 1st Jul 2025 | 5 | 4 | 5 | It is in the bank next to the minor road indicated on the map. It aligns with the road perfectly. It is strikingly triangular when viewed from the field on the other side from the road (where there is a vineyard). I posted an image from the field. |
