You feel like you’re on a different planet, with jagged stones and rocks as far as the eye can see in every direction on the desert landscape.
You have to pay to access the site, as you drive round a marked track, but you can park at stopping places and walk around for a closer look. There is an information centre with an exhibition on the history of the place. V... Read More |

Not much to add to what others have said, but it’s in a nice wooded area with fields all around. Trig point just along the footpath, could combine this with a longer walk down to Ginge and the Hendreds. | ||

Once we realised and looked closer, it was easier to spot. It's in a nice wooded area, will be going back when it's drier. | |||
