Photo taken July 2021 and it's hanging on my wall at home to remind me of the good things in the world.
In this photo, the large stone on the right is surrounded by light. This will not not be seen now, since the recent illegal additional stonework.
I have not yet heard back from CADW or Gwynedd Archaeological Trust since I informed them of the damage. I suspect that they do not have the money or manpower as there have ...

Cors y Gedol Round House Settlement submitted by w650marion on 2nd Mar 2025. Close to the footpath, another ring of stones appears in early spring when the brambles and bracken have died back. It was something important once, quite substantial and there is a very welcoming atmosphere. I always say hello and we have a little chat.

We walked past this massive squarish flat-topped boulder at the side of the road, only to find later that it was in the Archwilio archaeological record as a cup marked stone! We dashed back with high hopes and gently brushed away the sheep droppings, but the cup marks were not easy to see. A few drops of drinking water filled the ones we found, and made them more easy to photograph.
