This readily accessible site is situated alongside the A4120 running south from Ponterwyd towards Devil's Bridge. The circle is not marked as an antiquity on recent OS maps but the church itself is easily found. Yordas Cave submitted by andy_h on 27th Apr 2004. Previously a Victorian Showcave in which evidence of early human habitation was found. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon exploring with a torch. The highlight being the underground waterfall chamber at the back of the cave.

One of many monuments called ‘White Cairn’ in this area and not to be confused with another White Cairn located only 1.2km to the NW! This particular example is listed as a must see site in the areas Archaeosights leaflet. It can be found in the forest east of Glentrool Village at NX 35257838. Log Text: I was there late evening, a rushed visit due to the next day's weather forecast being so unpleasant. I'm glad I went. Perhaps it's because dusk was upon me that the ambience was quite impressive, and the site's structure is unusual. I'm dead against grouse shoooting, but it would be sort-of helpful good if the heather in and around the circle were burnt again! V diff to photograph without a wide lens (and a long pole).

Log Text: This location (where did that name Weston Camp come from?), is I think a settlement, not a hillfort. My 1:25000 map showed it as a Settlement. Both of these (hill)forts were perhaps "defended enclosures", but this is significantly smaller than the adjacent Llanfilo Camp.
Superb location for views of the Brecon Beacons which surely were of significance to the builders, and of other hillforts in the area.
