The Fowlis Wester Circles submitted by Nick on 5th Nov 2002. Half a mile above the village of Fowlis Wester is an area where parking is possible. From there it is around 400m walk up a rough track to the outlier, which is clearly visible. Both circles are in a fairly ruinous condition. Water of Deugh submitted by PaulM on 29th Oct 2002. King’s Cairn
Another inclusion in the regions’ Archaeosights leaflet - quite a way into wilderness country but the lane is a nice drive. Once you have found the relavant stile your walk begins. It is not a long walk but it is uphill, dark and wet (I wish I hadn’t watched The Blair Witch Project a night or two before!) but the King’s Cairn is worth the fear.
