Santa Cristina Pozzo Sacro

Santa Cristina Pozzo Sacro submitted by AlexHunger on 20th Oct 2006. Late Bronze Age Holy well with very modernistic design. This monument is located within a major complex including a Nurage and habitations. The steps lead to an underground tholos where the well is located. her is a sky light of sorts at top, and it is surrounded by a circular compound wall. Local archeologist say that there is a very similar well in Ugarit, Syria, which remains to be checked.
