Gallardet Dolmen submitted by thecaptain on 11th Mar 2009. Looking out from the main chamber. This is entered through a wonderful oven door stone, which has been put back together from three pieces. The stone is 2 metres high, and has an entrance 1 metre wide and 1.2 metres in height cut into it.

Cork (W308 368): In an area abundant in stone circles, Bohonagh stands out as a particularly fine example of an axial (sometimes called recumbent) stone circle. The nine remaining stones of an original thirteen are particularly large and impressive. They form a circle 9.9m in diameter with an equinoctial sun-set alignment.
