A more complex wedge tomb than most. This had an outer wall of tall stones and a possible ante-chamber marked by the 6' high slab in front.

This is not shown on the map but it seems to be a small wedge tomb even though the stones, particularly the capstone, seem disproportionately massive for what is an unusually small chamber. Hmm.....genuine?

A wedge tomb now partly incorporated into a wall. A lot of the surrounding cairn survives and there are indications of a second gallery.

This is the internal entrance to the souterrain on the W side of the rath. The entrance opens into a large chamber integral to the wall. A twisting 20' long creep passage leads off from the chamber to the centre of the rath.

This small wedge tomb, which is not marked on the map, has a gallery only 5'6" long. However, a number of stones behind the chamber appear as though they have collapsed and may possibly be the remains of a second chamber and capstone.

This ruined tomb stands in a still visible 15' diameter mound. Difficult to be certain but I think the 2 stones are the now earthfast remains of a side wall and a collapsed capstone.
