Site Type: Burial Chamber or Dolmen
Country: Portugal (Viseu)
Visited: Would like to visit
Anta da Arca submitted by Alta-Falisa on 28th Mar 2015. Strangely enough, this remarkable dolmen is not signposted anywhere. On the site, a board laconicaly says "Anta". However, even reduced to its few surviving components : a capstone, three uprights and a few smaller stones, Anta de Arca (the name of the nearby village) is one of the most elegant in Northern Portugal.
