Log Text: When approaching this site one couldn't help but notice that lots of really big stones that perhaps once was a part of these two long barrows are used for decorative puposes at some of the small farmhouses here.

Log Text: IMHO totally destroyed and not worth a visit. Unfortunately the Baron and the staff at the Valdemar Slot estate appears to be driven by greed and has no respect for anything of cultural value.

Log Text: The picture of the Dolmen at http://mw2.google.com/mw-panoramio/photos/thumbnail/4246218.jpg is misplaced. The Dolmen at the picture actually is the Bjerreby Dolmen. find this Dolmen at the location.
Since the ground at the site was covered by snow and was frozen, as well as the boulders in this area was covered with broken off branches, it wouldn't be fair to rate the site before I can do a revisit in the spring or summer.

Log Text: Absolutely worth a visit, even if you have to wade a long distance through deep snow on a wintersday. The Southfunen Archipelago Trail even has a "coffe spot" here. That is tables and benches are available - the coffe you mus bring yourself on a thermo can.

Log Text: I found what could be a burial mound, but with everything covered under snow it's hard to say what it was I found. To me it mostly looked like a plundered burial mound.

Log Text: A relative large area with two small hills or burial mounds, on top of these hills/mounds a multitude of stone circles and ship settings are present. I'm extremely impressed if much of it probably was covered by snow at my visit. Here you really get a feeling of being present at a holy place!
Go there at a time of the year when most of the stones isn't covered by anything.

Log Text: It seems that several other stones builds a ring around this cup-mark stone. However, it's hard to take photos of them this time of year, because most of the stones are covered with broken off branches.
Some people believe the cup marks are marks from the Trolls or the Giants fingers, from when they throwed around with these stones.
