Allée Couverte Le Ribl submitted by pab on 17th Dec 2014. "A burial monument dating from around 3000 BC, Le Ribl gallery tomb owes its name to an ancient watercourse partly covered by dunes. Althing

Althing submitted by pab on 2nd Jan 2011. Site in Iceland By way of contrast to Drew's photo from April 2010, this picture is of the same location, but looking at the Rock and flag from the other direction. This was taken in July 2002, when Iceland was really in bloom with wild flowers. The Icelanders have a very keen pride in having had their democratic 'parliament' since such an early period.

Bannau Sir Gaer submitted by pab on 20th Apr 2008. As noted in RCAHMW description, many of these stones in this circle are difficult to find - especially if the grass ever gets a chance to grow! This picture picks out the stones which were visible on our latest walk around the wonderful Carmarthen Fan circuit.

Barclodiad-y-Gawres (Anglesey) submitted by pab on 24th Sep 2012. Even without being able to get into the chamber itself, it is definitely worth making the short trip from the car park to look through the gates. Bedd Arthur submitted by pab on 21st Jul 2006. Setting the scale: Looking due East over Bedd Arthur, it actually looks much smaller than expected from many pictures, and this one lets the landscape re-assert itself rather well! From the same spot, Carn Leidi near St David's was also visible looking due West
