Five cists arranged in an oval are visible from a field entrance west of Newport on the A487(T) in Pembrokeshire in SW Wales. Apparently the farmer does not mind considerate visitors entering the field to look.
May have been in use into the Bronze Age and covered by an oval mound.

Ffynnon Wnda
Date Added: 5th Sep 2015

Country: Wales (Pembrokeshire)
Visited: Yes on 4th Sep 2015

Ffynnon Wnda submitted by PAB on 4th Sep 2015. Ffynnon Wnda, in June 2011. At this stage, the well wasn't as obscured as shown in rogerkread's photos from July 2015. His photos showed it looking so sad that I looked back at my earlier ones.
It's a bit worrying if it's now being looked after, as it is such a lovely setting.

Each was reputed to cure a different malady. You should drop a pebble into the well and make a wish. If many bubbles appear, then your wish will be granted, if only a few then you will be disappointed.
